An abundance of purple blossoms in the spring, large heart shaped leaves in summer & yellow fall color. Low water requirements. Displays a high tolerance to salt and alkali soils. Full sun to part shade. Fast growing. Maturity: 20-30' tall in cooler climates. This eastern redbud will grow approximately half this size in a wamer growing zone. Zones 4-9.
